The method of mating disruption is recommended for two species: oriental (Grapholitha molesta) and plum (Grapholitha funebrana) fruit moths. For this purpose two types of pheromone dispensers are suggested: rubber rings impregnated with pheromone and two-layer polyethylene-bag containing pheromone solution. In the case of high densities of G. funebrana it is necessary to reduce the population of the first moth generation, for example, by biological or chemical methods.
