E-health monitoring system

Abstract An advanced personal health monitoring medicine box, analysis, and control system along with medical monitoring is proposed in this chapter. The system focuses on improving the current standing position of the internet of things (IoT) in biomedical applications. The principle thought overwhelming the current patterns is the IoT in well-being because of its integration with individual social insurance. This chapter presents an IoT-based health observing framework that altogether allows to keep up the best possible soundness of the populace in a country. The information will be stored in the cloud. The status of a patient’s health and the previous records associated with it will be handed over to the contacts linked to the android app. The medicine box consists of an emergency button that when pressed generates an alert message to the linked contacts. The entire hardware consists of three modules such as wristband, data recorder, and medicine box. The hardware uses noninvasive methods to collect the health-related data of the user. The data collected is then stored in the cloud and also relayed to the doctor. The medicine is used to monitor the medicine consumption of the user.
