Test fusion reactor otr — concept and major technical features

A description is given of the test fusion reactor OTR which is conceived to be a major step between the present generation of tokamaks in the USSR and commercial reactors. The design of OTR is based on near-term technologies and its construction will possibly be around the year 2000.
