Multi-energy Users Valuation Analysis Based on Multi-Attribute Decision-Making Theories

2019
With the development of integrated energy systems, multi-energy users that demand multiple energy vectors become new customers in the energy markets. This paper proposes a multi-energy users valuation model. Based on the valuation model, energy service companies (ESCOs) are able to identify high-quality users which is significant for increasing profitability. Firstly, this assessment model combines the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) based on subjective evaluation and the improved entropy weight method (IEWM) based on objective data to calculate the comprehensive weight of each criterion. Then, the ranking strategy in this model is introduced and consists of the improved technique for order preference by similarity to an ideal solution (ITOPSIS) and improved gray correlation (IGC) method. Finally, a case study and the sensitivity analysis of this model is shown and studied to provide recommendations for ESCOs to identify high-quality users under the background of integrated energy systems.
