The authors report a case of duodenal tuberculosis revealed by duodenal stenosis. They underline the absence of specificity of the clinical, radiological and endoscopic signs and symptoms. Laparotomy is almost always necessary, and diagnosis is made based on the observation of peritoneal granulations and histological analysis of surgical biopsies of lymphoid nodules. Surgery should not be disfiguring, since antibiotics usually provide an effective cure.
