A New Species of Simulium from the Southwestern United States (Díptera: Simuliidae).

A new species of Simuliidae, Simulium (Simulium) tescorum, is described from the southwestern United States and compared with the related S. jacumbae Dyar & Shannon. The female, male, larva, and pupa are illustrated for both species.
