The Quantum Cascade Laser:a new commercially available mid-IR spectroscopic source

The quantum cascade laser (QCL) has entered production as a compact, robust, and efficient spectroscopy source for the mid-IR wavelength region from 4.5 microns to beyond 17 microns. Details of QCL performance will be presented.
