An arrangement for mounting and holding a built-in cooking field

1994
The invention concerns a device for mounting and securing in place a built-in cooker top plate (1), in particular a ceramic top plate, the top plate (1) being inserted from above to lock into an aperture (4a) cut in the worktop (4). Problems of tolerance between the cooker top plate (1) and the aperture (4a) in the worktop are avoided by virtue of the fact that, before the top plate is mounted in the aperture (4a) in the work surface, an auxiliary mounting frame (3) into which the top plate (1) fits exactly is fitted and the top plate secured in the frame by fasteners or clip-in connectors.
