Method and apparatus for manufacturing dimensionally accurate tire

For the production of tires, in particular in retreading, the tire is normally covered with rubber in order to build a tread. This evidence process is controlled by a machine program, the individual deviations of the tire from the ideal tire contour insufficiently takes into account. The task of the new process is to capture the actual contour, in particular in the relevant tread area accurately and incorporate them into the evidence process. Thus manufacturing and age-related differences in shape of the tire casing can be considered. With the invention, a method is thus provided which makes it possible to construct the tread of the tire so that the tire exactly comply with the required shape after the documents and thus the tire can be manufactured which meet the high demands with respect to the rotation characteristics.
