The inter-enterprise relations in Italy

The paper analyses the inter-enterprise relations in Italy showing that they are concentrated in enterprises with a high relational attitude, while more than a third of firms has no relations. The propensity to the inter-enterprise relations is studied using official data sources and a multinomial logistic model. The results show that the sector of economic activity, having made innovations, and the level of revenues from sales of goods and/or services are the most relevant factors in setting the relational behaviour of the enterprises.
