Preliminary study on effects of different decomposers on wheat straw.
2010
High-activity cellulose-decomposing microorganisms were isolated from soils and the Ruilaite microbes, respectively forming the TZ and RES composite microbes according to their sources. The two formed composite microbes and the Ruilaite microbes were applied to wheat straw decomposition in order to investigate the effects of the three composite microbes on wheat straw decomposition rate. The results showed that the variations of temperature, crude fiber and organic matter contents in the decomposition course under adding composite microbes were similar to those without adding composite microbes;and after the 60 d decomposition without adding composite microbes, the crude fiber and organic matter contents were minimally 55.2%and 86.7%,respectively,indicating that the decomposition of wheat straw was not accelerated by adding the above three composite microbes, being dependent mainly on its own microorganisms.
