Impiego di sanse di olive integrate nell'alimentazione della pecora da latte : effetti sulle produzioni quali-quantitative di latte

1993
Pitted olive husks, enriched with the natural components of the vegetative waters according to a patented process (having as specific goal the elimination of the vegetative water pollution), have been experimented as ingredients for diets in animal feeding. This kind of utilization appeared reasonable in consideration to the fact that, owing to this enrichment, these materials contain interesting amounts of olive oil representing the residual part in the vegetative waters during the production process. As experimental class of animals, sheeps have been chosen and, during their feeding, the milk production and its quality, the ruminal degradability of integrated husks and the animal body growth were checked. With reference to all these aspects, no undesirable effects were ascertained
