The invention relates to an 8-anchor bolt connected steel pylon tower foot determining method comprising the following steps: determining the maximum tension of each anchor bolt; calculating the bottom plate uniform distribution counterforce; checking the distance S1 between a hole and a shoe plate, the distance S2 between a hole and a ribbed slab, the distance S3 between holes, and the distance S4 between a ribbed slab and the bottom plate edge; calculating the free edge length a of the compressed bottom plate according to the S1, S2 and S3; determining the unit length bending moment Ma of the compressed bottom plate according to a and the bottom plate uniform distribution counterforce; determining the thickness ta of the compressed bottom plate according to Ma; determining the unit length bending moment of a tensioned bottom plate according to S1, S3, S4 and the maximum tension of each anchor bolt; determining the thickness tt of the tensioned bottom plate according to the length bending moment; determining the bottom plate thickness t according to the compressed bottom plate calculated thickness ta and the tensioned bottom plate tt. The method can effectively simulate real force bearing conditions of members, and a calculation formula is simple and clear after a sketch map is provided, thus allowing design people to conveniently calculate and check the steel pylon tower foot.
