Synthesis and Properties of Scandium and Alkaline-Earth Double Borates M3Sc(BO3)3

Compounds M3Sc(BO3)3 (M = Ba, Sr) were prepared by solid-phase reactions and studied by X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis and IR spectroscopy. The structural type of the compounds was determined and their unit cell parameters were refined.
