Study on the Synthetic Process of Quizalofop-P-tefuryl

Using 4-[(6-chloro-2-quinoxalinyl)oxy]phenol and ethyl(S)-2-[[(4-methylphenyl)sulfonyl]oxy]propanoate as starting materials, quizalofop-P-tefuryl was prepared through transesterification and substitution reaction. The total yield was 91.2%, the purity was 95%, and the optical purity was 95%. The improved method had such advantages as simple operations, high yield. It was suitable for industrial production.
