A UNIVERSIDADE ABERTA DA TERCEIRA IDADE UNIATI-UNIEVANGÉLICA COMO INSTRUMENTO DE INCLUSÃO E ACESSIBILIDADE DO IDOSO NO ASPECTO SOCIOCULTURAL

The objective of this work is to demonstrate the different cultural workshops in illustrative ways offered to the elderly, as well as to honor them, in the form of poetry, their contagious insight through the challenges proposed throughout life, faced and overcome, with the help of the UniATI, which promotes diverse social, educational and cultural concepts. Conceived and conceived in 2015, the Open University of the Third Age (UniATI) was implemented in UniEVANGELICA as a means of inclusion and accessibility of the elderly in the academic environment by providing the diffusion of knowledge to every individual greater or equal to 60 years, interested in the in the meantime, as a model of learning and interaction, bringing the elderly to the scientific milieu in an integral way, accustoming them to interdisciplinary workshops. Approximately 240 elderly people are enrolled every six months and are renewed each semester, with a minimum age of 60 years. The proposal deals with educational, social and interdisciplinary means provided by the University Center of Anapolis - UniEvangelica, in which the workshops are free and open to the public, with a satisfactory range of stakeholders. In this context, UniATI, in addition to promoting education in various areas, such as singing, gymnastics classes and computer science, provide the elderly with interactive, communicative means in which they get out of their daily monotony, meet new people and become accustomed to school practices, previously abandoned by a majority. It is possible to perceive the importance of the project in the sociocultural inclusion of the elderly favoring the improvement of their quality of life. Keywords: Inclusion. Accessibility. Old man.
