QUALIDADE DE VIDA : ATUAÇÃO DO ENFERMEIRO NA REABILITAÇÃO E AUTONOMIA DE PACIENTES COM TRAUMA RAQUIMEDULAR

2021
The aim of this study is to identify the role of nurses in rehabilitation and autonomy in patients with spinal cord trauma. The method used to identify these evidences was an integrative literature review through the electronic databases Scientific Electronic Electronic Library Online (SciELO), Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences, (LILACS), and Virtual Health Library (VHL), which culminated in the selection of eight scientific articles on the researched theme. From the studies analyzed, it appears that the main interventions are related to actions aimed at the need for rehabilitation in the face of the limitations of patients with SCI (87.5%); Stimulating the patient's independence and autonomy (75%); it can be said that patients with spinal cord trauma have a good quality of life, despite having restrictions in their daily activities. Therefore, it is necessary to continue studies with a higher level of evidence in order to establish nursing interventions capable of modifying the current context that the individual with SCI is in.
