The Standard of GPIB and an Example of Measurement System

This paper discussed the structure and major functions of General Purpose Interface Bus (GPIB) after reviewing its history. Then we gave a general comparison with other buses. Finally we presented an example to measure the EEG signals based on GPIB with a PC and a digital storage oscillograph.
