A new web-based service supports this task by providing abstracted cost data for a major number of energy-related modules and devices. Both investment and energy consumption related cost shares are reported, with the latter derived from user-supplied operating condition information. The involvement of device and unit manufacturers guarantees the continuous update of the underlying cost data.
