Carbon monoxide poisoning: an A&E perspective.

Carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning accounts for more than 1000 deaths in England and Wales each year. This article reviews the current literature on CO poisoning and discusses the assessment, treatment and nursing care of patients with CO poisoning in the accident and emergency department.
