Clinical experience of sequential therapy in the treatment of peptic ulcer with Helicobacter pylori positive

Objective To investigate the effect of sequential therapy for peptic ulcer (Hp) with Helicobacter pylori positive.Methods Eighty-six cases of peptic ulcer with Hp positive were randomly divided into observation group and control group,43 cases in each group,the observation group was treated with sequential therapy,they were given pantoprazole of 40 mg and amoxicillin of 1 000 mg by oral in 1-5 d,bid,and were given pantoprazole of 40 mg,clarithromycin of 500 mg,and tinidazole of by oral in 6-10 d,bid;The control group was given standard triple therapy,they were given pantoprazole of 40 mg,clarithromycin of 500 mg+ amoxicillin of 1 000 mg by oral for 7 d,bid.The two groups were given pantoprazoleof 40 mg by oral continuely,qd,the general courses were 28 d.After 28 d,gastroscope was reviewed and Hp was detected,the effect of gastroscopy and Hp removal rate in the two groups were observed.Results In the observation group,the Hp removal rate was 90.7%,which was significantly higher than that in the control group of 69.8% (P 0.01),the effect of gastroscopy had no significant difference (P 0.05),they were all no serious adverse reactions.Conclusion Sequential therapy in the treatment of peptic ulcer with Helicobacter pylori positive is safe and effective,and it is the preferred scheme in the treatment of Hp infection in clinic.
