Jeon Mi Sook is one of the second generation choreographers in Korean modern dance history. Subject consciousness of her works has been extended from identity exploration to human, social, woman’s issues. Her own style consists of theatricality, expressive movement, sophisticated stage and costume, open-minded adopting elements of other performance arts. Especially, theatricality makes her work distinguished from others. Jeon Mi Sook is qualified as a dance author which means outstanding artist having a critical mind and own style, making works steadily.
