Actualizarea protocolului de diagnostic în babesioza canină

The present paper constitutes a review of existing literature data regarding direct and/or indirect diagnostic tests performances for canine babesiozis, along with original aspects from the author regarding genetic tests results versus conventional diagnostic methodology. Moreover, beside diagnostic, this protocol brings to the clinician’s attention interesting information regarding the correlation between therapy management and infective babesia species (choosing the right protocol, estimation of drug response depending on the involved species).
