Coupling Model of Stope Roof with Hurricane Disaster and the Influence Analysis of Mining Height on Hurricane Velocity

2010
Hurricane disaster caused by large-area falling-over of stope roof is very serious, constantly resulting in unexpected accidents including damage of equipment and casualties.Taking the mining and geological conditions of Shendong mining district in Shenhua Group as background, the research analyzes the hurricane disaster in the super-long face of large mining height, establishes an air impulsion coupling model with roof caving, and discusses the difference solution. With the help of numerical solutions, analyzes the influences of the roof height on hurricane velocity of stope and roadways, and obtains the theoretical predictive equations of hurricane disasters. The conclusion that an increase in roof height can bring about higher hurricane velocity and more serious impact destruction,is given. The research has academic significance in hurricane disaster prevention caused by large-area falling-over of roof in quickly-advanced faces of high yield and efficiency, and in the design of disaster prevention projects.
