The thermoplastic resin composition and its molded article

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic resin composition comprising an aromatic polyester resin and a polylactic acid resin and largely improved in mechanical characteristics, hydrolysis resistance and heat resistance which have been defects of the polylactic acid resin, and a molded product thereof. SOLUTION: The thermoplastic resin composition comprises 15-50 wt.% aromatic polyester resin (a) and 50-85 wt.% polylactic acid resin (b) blended to the same. In the thermoplastic resin, the aromatic polyester resin (a) forms a continuous phase and the polylactic acid resin (b) forms a dispersed phase or a continuous phase in a resin phase-separated structure observed by electron microscope.
