Determination of chlorine in wood, pulp and paper

1959
Small amounts of chlorine in wood, pulp and paper can be determined by combustion of the material in oxygen of atmospheric pressure, adsorption of the chloride formed in water and potentiometric titration. This method is suitable for chlorine contents of more than 0.1 mg/g and is more accurate than conventional procedures.
