System Identification of Batch Vacuum PAN for simulation

2017
Abstract— In this paper, black box system identification and modeling of batch vacuum PAN are proposed. System identification is a technique by which system can be represented in mathematical terms from observed input-output data. The system identification can be used for any system and can be termed into the mathematical equation for computer simulation. With a mathematical model output of a system can be predicted for given known input. This paper discusses modeling of vacuum batch PAN system of sugar processing plant. Data captured from field devices are first analyzed to find the relationship of parameters against output and then directly expressed using mathematical autoregressive equation. This model is used to build a control system for PAN.
