TECENDO REDES DE CUIDADO: O ITINERÁRIO TERAPÊUTICO DE UM USUÁRIO COM NEOPLASIA

2021
Objective: To understand the health-disease-care relationship of a person with cancer treated at a reference hospital in the macro health region of Sobral, based on the reconstitution of their therapeutic itinerary in the light of Arthur Kleinman's theoretical framework. Methods: Descriptive exploratory study, with a qualitative approach, of the case study type with reproduction of the therapeutic itinerary of a user with cancer treated at a reference hospital for the macro health region of Sobral - Ceara. Carried out in January 2021. The collection of information was guided by a Form with the subject's Clinical Sociodemographic information, the Focal Life Story operationalized by an in-depth interview. The analysis of the recorded and transcribed interviews over the 3 meetings was guided by the Thematic Content Analysis. Results: Recurring searches for public and private services to identify the cancer diagnosis stood out along the itinerary. The treatment started late, resulting in psychological distress in the participant, as well as in his family. The support network accessed was composed of formal health services represented by the health post, polyclinic, private clinics, reference hospital in the region for cancer and the Mobile Emergency Care Service. As for informal support, it was composed only by the strong relationship with the partner, and some family members. Final considerations: Along the trajectories, several factors that crossed the care process were evidenced, from the difficulties faced in the search for the diagnosis to the guarantee of some care during the treatment.
