Electric Field Based Spectrum Control of Deterministic Quantum Emitters in Atomically Thin Semiconductors

Spectrally tunable quantum emitters (QEs) at predetermined locations can enable scalable quantum technologies. We employ a van-der Waals' capacitor on nanopillars to deterministically create QEs in monolayer WSe 2 and tune their energies by applying electric field.
