The invention discloses a method of treating a thread surface of a titanium alloy oil pipe. The method specifically comprises the steps that (1) the thread surface of the titanium alloy oil pipe is subjected to pretreatment of sandblasting, degreasing and acid pickling; (2) the thread surface of the titanium alloy oil pipe is soaked in an acid pickling activation solution to be subjected to activation treatment; and (3) the thread surface of the titanium alloy oil pipe is soaked in a nickel-phosphorus plating solution, and is heated for chemical nickel-phosphorus plating, wherein when the thread surface of the titanium alloy oil pipe is turned to the nickel-phosphorus plating solution from the acid pickling activation solution, a thread connector is soaked in an acid solution throughout, and no to-be-activated surface is subjected to secondary oxidation to form an oxidation film. With the adoption of the method for modifying the thread surface of the titanium alloy oil pipe, the abrasive resistance and thread gluing resistance of the thread surface of the titanium alloy oil pipe can be improved, and the application of titanium alloy pipes in the oil industry is realized.
