GENERATION AND VARIETY OF ACTIVE OXYGEN SPECIES IN THE HYPHAE OF GRIFOLA UMBELLATA

2000
Fermented solution, mycelial extract and cell wall of Armillaria mellea can induce the generation of active oxygen species in Grifola umbellata. The elicitor induced the formation of active oxygen species in a dose-dependent manner. SOD, CAT and mannitol could suppress the production of active oxygen species. It showed active oxygen species included H2O2, O·-2 and ·OH. DPI inhibited active oxygen species induced by elicitors, indicating that NADPH oxidase might be the source of superoxide anion.
