Preadolescent multisport athlete with hip and heel pain

11 yo male with history of Osgood Schlatter presented to Sports Medicine with hip pain after playing in a basketball tournament 5 days prior. No discreet injury. Nocturnal pain occurred the night before his sports medicine visit. This was his second episode of hip pain in 6 months. NSAIDs, rest, and stretching improved his pain. No other symptoms.
