Inventario florístico de árboles y arbustos en fragmentos de bosques con presión antrópica constante

With the aim of contributing to the knowledge of the floristic richness that maintains and protects in forest fragments adjacent to the path Boyd- Roosevelt, a floristic inventory was performed. Seventy-two field trips were made from January to August 2014. About 197 species, 153 genera, 56 families were recorded. The most representative families were Fabaceae (18 species), Arecaceae (10 species), Malvaceae (9 species) and Rubiaceae (8 species). The most diverse genera were Syzygium (3), Erythrina (3) and Ficus (3). In addition, 71 species were classified as trees, 47 shrubs, 14 arborescent and 34 herbs. Among types of vegetation, secondary forest was the most diverse with 36 % and mature forest, gallery forests and grasslands with 18 % each. About 5 species were recorded under some level of threat-risk category of IUCN and ANAM and 35.6 % of the registered flora is native.
