Optionen zur Tiefkühlung ohne R13B1

This paper provides an overview of potential zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) alternatives to the refrigerant bromotrifluoromethane (R 13B1) for use in low temperature refrigeration applications and the balance of properties exhibited by each. Particular emphasis is placed on non-flammable refrigerants available on a commercial basis. Refrigerants considered as replacements are R410A, R404A, and blends containing R125 and R218.
