There is provided a device for comminuting agglomerates of particles in a suspension. The device has a container (2) for receiving the suspension and at least one piston (6), the particular way in the container (2) and is movable to the suspension between two space areas (16, 18) of a cylinder chamber (4) of the container to move (2), wherein the two spatial areas (14, 16) defining at least one flow path a constriction (12) are connected together for the suspension.
