Internationalization of Higher Education: Challenges and Opportunities of Chinese International Students

The purpose of this research was to investigate experiences of intercultural adaptation, with a focus on Chinese students as the largest group of international students in Canada. As globalization intensified, Canada accelerated its pace of internationalization of higher education as a strategic priority at the national and institutional levels. Its objective is to increase the number of international students in Canada and to promote educational and research collaborations. In particular, recruitment of international students became the top priority for many Canadian universities and colleges. Through a qualitative methodology using content and thematic analysis, this study
