The Performance of Autoclaved High-Speed Dental Handpieces

High-speed dental handpieces may spread contamination from patient to patient. Autoclaving eliminates contamination but may affect the performance of the handpiece. This study evaluated the effects of autoclaving on contamination and performance of dental handpieces.
