Numerical Control Machining Wire-Frame Simulation Based on VTK

A realization technology of NC machining wire-frame simulation system based on Visualization ToolKit(VTK) was proposed.In the numerical control system,supervisory computer was used to capture cutter positon through Ethernet.By inserting the dynamic dataset into the normal VTK data pipeline,the 3D drawing and interaction behavior were obtained.The validity of this method was proved by applying it in a new generation of Ethernet based numerical control system.
