Overwintering surveillance of Culex pipiens pallens in Shandong Province

: ［摘要］目的 了解山东省淡色库蚊冬季生态习性。 方法 于2015年12月至2016年1月, 在山东省选取调查点进行淡 色库蚊越冬情况的调查。 结果 淡色库蚊在山东省以成蚊越冬, 越冬场所在农村主要为地窖、水井、山洞等; 在城市则以 防空洞、城墙洞、下水道、花窖等处为主, 在人房内和牲畜房内均较少。 结论 山东省淡色库蚊越冬处所多为高温高湿且 避光的地窖和坑洞为主, 且其幼虫不能越冬。. METHODS: From December 2015 to January 2016, the overwintering conditions of Cx. pipiens pallens were investigated in Shandong Province. RESULTS: In Shandong Province, in rural districts, the overwintering places of Cx. pipiens pallens were basements, wells and caves; and in urban areas, they were air raid shelters, holes of city walls, sewers and flower cellars. CONCLUSIONS: In Shandong Province, the overwintering places of Cx. pipiens pallens are mainly basements and holes, which are under high temperature and humidity, and away from light. Its larvae cannot overwinter.
