Vector magnetometry with polarized neutron reflectometry with spin analysis

Abstract The possibility of selective vector magnetometry by polarized neutron reflectometry is investigated. Experimental studies of samples with one and two cobalt layers are presented. Magnetisations of individual layers are measured independently and individual hysteresis cycles are inferred.
