Study of copper(II) chloropropionates complexed with imidazole or methyl substituted imidazoles

Abstract The preparation of complexes involving copper(II) chloropropionates and imidazole or methyl substituted imidazoles is described. The results of thermal and spectral studies are reported for the different complexes. The monomeric character of these complexes is shown; in addition, the dimeric character of the initial compound is noted. D and E values are given for the dimer compounds.
