A process for producing multiphase washing or cleaning agent, comprising preparing a water-soluble or water-dispersible container, filling this container with washing or cleaning agent, applying a release layer and filling the vessel with further washing or cleaning agent, characterized in that for forming the separation layer a liquid release agent is applied, which solidifies to form the separating layer, reduce the amount of packaging materials used and the number of necessary steps and additionally ensure an optimized use of space of the packaging body.
