Isopiestic measurement of the activity coefficients for water in aqueous solutions of polyethylene glycol

Binary systems containing polyethylene glycol (PEG) of molecular masses 1500 and 2000 were studied by the isopiestic method at 298 K. The osmotic and activity coefficients for water in binary aqueous solutions of PEG1500 and PEG2000 were determined, optimized, and compared with the published data.
