A Study on the Self-Affirmation of University Student - Focusing on Classification by Personality -

2018
It is an ideal of all humans to continue to live healthily both mentally and physically. In a survey compiled by the Cabinet Office, the results showed that 45% answered positively to the question of whether they were satisfied with themselves. Comparing this result with foreign countries, the proportion of Japanese young people who positively recognize themselves clearly has a low result. Moreover, as a result of a keeping a distorted cognition of themselves due to the influence of education received in early childhood, young people who live a careless life are taken up in the news etc. day by day. This becomes problematic, and efforts by society as a whole are necessary. The question paper used the self-affirmative consciousness scale, TEG II, BIG 5, and YG. Grouping of self-affirmative consciousness was classified according to a normal distribution. In order to investigate the relationship between the self-affirmative consciousness scale and each personality test, a two-way analysis of variance was carried out. As a result, the interaction between the self-affirmative consciousness scale and TEGII, and BIG5 was significant. As classification factors, A scale and Ag scale were cited. From now on, this study would like to classify surveys further.
