Contribuição da densidade da palmeira babaçu na formação de serrapilheira e na disponibilidade de nutrientes

2018
The experiment installed on Pirapemas-MA, aimed to determine and evaluate the effect ofdensity of babassu Palms in the spatial distribution of spontaneous vegetation. The experimenthas 12 parcels of 20 x 20 m with 4 palmeiras densities (25, 50, 75 and 100%) in 3 randomizedblocks, with distribution of quadrants 1.3 x 1.3 m on the plots. There was no significant differencebetween the densities, the largest amount of leaf litter was found in the area with the highestconcentration of Palm trees. The Ca, Na and Zn showed significant difference compared to theother. For the Cu, Fe, Mg, Mn, Na, K, and Pb, there was no significant difference between thedensities of Palm trees, but the results show that with the presence of vegetation and litter, isof paramount importance for the maintenance or resumption of ecological processes
