Moisture Prediction System with LSTM Technique for Cactus Farm

Many famous cactus farms in Thailand. The young generation is interested to plant the cactus for extra income. One of the reasons that make the cactus died is unbalancing of soil moisture. Cactus can absorb the water from humidity in the air and soil moisture by root. So, moisture must be control for the growing up of the cactus. In this paper, we proposed the moisture detection for showing the soil moisture level to notice the farmer to give water to the cactus. Our system measures three important parameters including temperature, air humidity, and soil moisture. When the air humidity is lower than 70% and soil moisture is less than 30%, the farmer should give the water to the cactus immediately. Moreover, we add the LSTM method to our system for predicting soil moisture. If the farmer can know the prediction time for giving the water, they can plan their schedule for working time.
