Seamless Processing Algorithm for Color Remote Sensing Image

The paper analyzes the reasons resulting in color differences among adjacent RS images and it also discusses the key techniques and typical algorithms related to RS image seamless processing.Based on detailed analysis,a new seamless processing solution is proposed.Each RS image is first filtered to uniform its intensity,and then quad-tree based color balancing method is adopted to maintain color consistency among RS images.To improve the visual effects,smoothing filter is used along image borders.The simulation results show that the proposed solution can effectively remove borders among RS images to achieve good visual effects,and be easily implemented as its simplicity.
