Towards embedded intelligence enabled autonomous condition monitoring systems for AC motor drives

This paper presents a general operational structure of an autonomous condition monitoring platform for ac machine drive applications that utilizes embedded multi-physics computing resources to facilitate autonomous diagnostics. The presented fundamental level configuration could enable more efficient and reliable condition monitoring schemes and sets the foundation for further practical implementation and development studies of the reported principles.
