Catalytic Enantioselective Synthesis of α-Arylaminocyclobutanones

Optimized conditions allow the enantioselective synthesis of the title compounds from racemic α-hydroxycyclobutanone and N-alkylaniline derivatives via a tandem condensation/keto-enol tautomerization process.
