Promoting emergency knowledge and skills through simulations for first-year pediatric residents

Background: Gaps exist in university students knowledge and skills. Increasing stress is usual before the beginning of pediatric residency education. We developed a four-hour simulation-based training before the first day of our pediatric residency program to improve their competency.
